Ways To Decorate Your Classroom
School opening is fast approaching, I'm pretty sure teachers are looking for new ideas for classroom decorations to give their students a new face of their second home. I would like to share these ideas of Ms. Peggy Wang as she demontrated 36 clever DIY ways to decorate your classroom.
The classroom of your dreams is easy to achieve with a little DIY magic.
2. Mount board games on the wall and eliminate bulky boxes.
3. Turn a ladder into an easel.
It can also serve as an extra chalkboard.
4. Make some simple sit-upons for your reading circle.
5. If making sit-upons seems too time consuming, lay down colored placemats or bath rugs.
7. Simple white circle stickers turns a boring bookcase into something out of a Dr. Seuss book.
8. Create a pencil system with decorated buckets.
Place paper in the bottom to avoid pencil marks.
9. Spell out “NOISE” with foam letters.
Take away a letter each time the noise level gets too high and when there are no letters left, there is NO talking.
10. Use vinyl transfers to make semi-permanent decals for words you don’t want to have to rewrite everyday.
11. Make some easy Truffula flower pom-poms as ceiling decorations.

13. Make a cute bunting out of burlap.
This one’s from Etsy but you could easily DIY this with paint, burlap, and string.
18. Punch stars out of a window blind to create a starry atmosphere for naptime.
21. Cut out letters out of fabric and iron them on for a temporary wall decoration.
22. Dress up your drawer knobs with fake flowers.
24. Print out photos of your students to make their own homework boxes.
It’s a great way to stay organized!
Similarly, you can print out photos and glue them onto binder clips and use them for hanging artwork.
25. Glue fabric flowers to magnets or clips for your springtime bulletin board.
29. Use tissue paper and fabric starch to make removable window clings.
